This project in Roade, involved building a new lounge with fire place and, because of the established plant life, we added Velux windows for extra light.

A brick built fire place gives a country feel to this property. A mantle using an old railway sleeper finished the job off nicely.

A vaulted ceiling and velux windows adds character to any room.

This extension is a link between the existing kitchen and garage, the external wall was knocked through to make a larger kitchen and utility room.

The services had to be moved, as you can see by the new meter boxes. This is something that should be considered when extending as your service provider can take several weeks to arrive on site.

This stone wall was the ultimate in recycling, the wall originally ran from the garage side where the rear gate is positioned, parallel to the house. Planning was required and obtained to move it incoporating a hard standing area, which was taken up and top soiled ready for turf, this area now forms part of the garden.
